New discount airfares between Perth and Exmouth

Qantas, in partnership with the State Government, through Tourism Western Australia, will trial $169 air fares between Perth and Exmouth over the peak travel season in 2019.  The discount fares will apply from June 7, 2019 to flights from Friday to Monday which are booked 45 days ahead of travel. The trial is part of the State Government’s commitment to work with airlines and other partners to introduce affordable fares where possible. It follows the introduction of special weekend fares between Perth and Broome last year, which has seen thousands of passengers fly for under $200. The $169 fares can be booked online or through travel agents from today (April 11). If successful, the trial could be expanded. The affordable fares follow a recent announcement by Avis and regional tourism organisation, Australia’s Coral Coast, of a trial for discounted relocation fees if hiring a car to drive one-way between Perth and Exmouth.
