Throughout Monday 15 - Sunday 21 May 2023 thousands of activities will be held across the country to say thank you to the 6 million Australians who volunteer their time. What to look forward to!>> Applications are now open for National Volunteer Week Grants Supported by Lotterywest, each year Volunteering WA offers grants of up to $1,000 to be used by organisations to celebrate their volunteers during National Volunteer Week. In 2022, over 176 Western Australian volunteer organisations received a grant with 213 events held across Western Australia recognising more than 12,231 volunteers. Grant applications are open 27 January to 5:00pm Sunday 5 March 2023. >> Nominate an incredible individual or organisation before 3 March The 2023 WA Volunteer of the Year Awards program celebrates the value and incredible contributions of volunteering to the social, cultural, economic, and environmental well-being of Western Australia and pays tribute to those volunteers who inspire and promote the spirit of volunteerism through their exemplary endeavours.
