I am so pleased to honor the Junior Advisory Board, a group of young, creative individuals who take senior hunger very seriously. With Cart For A Cause and the leadership of the Junior Advisory Board, St. Vincent Meals on Wheels joined the food truck craze and took it a step further: For every $10 star-chef lunch you buy from the Cart, a warm nutritious meal is delivered to a homebound senior. To date, the Cart has helped us feed 12,000 seniors.
I will be there on November 30 to celebrate the Junior Advisory Board’s innovative ideas and their philanthropic hearts. I hope you will be, too.
