Transformations explores the many ways in which music can transforms us as listeners and performers, as well as be transformed through instrument presentation. Performing preludes and landscapes by J.S. Bach and John Cage, Spanish dances, New Lullabies written for him by Stephanie Ann Boyd and Thomas Schuttenhelm, Japanese myths by Keigo Fujii, and Russian paintings by Mussorgsky, Aaron Larget-Caplan explores the many emotions of music through myths, change, and ideas. The concert includes Philadelphia premieres by Stephanie Ann Boyd, Cage and Thomas Schuttenhelm.
