BC Continues to Lead the Way on Zero Emissions Vehicles

In late May, the Province of BC passed the Zero Emissions Vehicle Act (ZEVA). This new Act mandates that by 2040 all new light-duty cars and trucks sold in the province have to be clean energy vehicles. Both the Federal government and the Province of BC have put in place incentives to support the transition to ZEVs; the CEVforBC rebate program has been topped with an additional $10 million in 2019. The new act and incentives will help reduce vehicle related emissions in BC and support goals set in the CleanBC plan.
