Gratitude challenge Today's challenge will cause you to think a bit differently. Instead of showing gratitude to the team, we're going to show appreciation and completely surprise some folks no longer on your team. Here's what to do. Have HR provide you with a list of employees, including addresses, who have left the organization within the past year. Look through the list and mark the names that make you smile—the individuals you would welcome back in a heartbeat. Put together a care package with a handwritten thank you card or use a platform like Thnks and share with each employee a note of gratitude and a small gift for the work and service they provided to the community. The gesture will be completely unexpected and will leave a lasting impression. Plus, you never know who may regret their decision to leave.
