It's week 8 - This week is the week you get to choose who will be representing you for the coming year - so read on for full details about the elections and how to vote.

Elections - Candidates Questions

Header

Wondering what it's all about? On Tuesday evening you will be able to find out who your Full Time Officer candidates are and what they would do for you if elected! Candidates Questions is a chance for students to challenge candidates on their policies and ideas, ask questions and find out who is best for the role.

Tuesday 6th March, 6.30pm, in the Minor Hall

Elections - Vote

Header

Voting opens at 10am on Wednesday this week and closes at 4pm on Friday!

Now is your chance to make sure that the right people are elected to represent you. If you don't think any of the candidates are right for the role, then you can also vote to 'Re-Open Nominations' but unless you vote you won't have had a say in who will be representing you to the University and wider community for the next year. It's essential that ALL students vote this week!

Positions open for voting:

LUSU President
Vice President Events & Democracy
Vice President Media & Communications
Vice President Academic
Vice President Activities
Vice President Equality, Welfare and Diversity

Cross Campus Elections Officer
School of Health and Medicine Officer
Post Graduate Research Representative

NUS Delegate

Some JCR positions are also up for election.

How Do I Vote?

You will receive a voter code in your @lancs email inbox. Follow the link in the elections email and enter the code to vote!

What if I don't receive an email?

If you haven't received an email prior to voting, please email elections@lusu.co.uk. To request a voter code.

MAKE SURE YOU VOTE

Easy Tiger

A Night to remember, not a night to forget.
As well as being aware of the amount of alcohol you drink on a night out, you also need to be aware of what you are drinking. Drink spiking is a national issue that can easily be avoided with a little bit of vigilance. To help protect you from drink spiking, Spikeys are available from LUSU, The Sugarhouse, all college bars and also the bars in town. You can find out more about what drink spiking is and how you can avoid it on the Easy Tiger website.
