Welcome to the latest edition of the CCI Alumni newsletter. I am Simon Brookes, the new Associate Dean (Students) for CCI. In simple terms, it is my responsibility to ensure that our students have an excellent experience whilst studying with us. As an alumnus of the University of Portsmouth myself I feel incredibly privileged to have achieved a position in my career where I can now contribute towards furthering the incredible progress made by the University in the twenty-two years or so since I graduated. At these times of enormous change in higher education it is both exhilarating and challenging to be working at one of the top new universities in the world!
