Many famous figures have declared their love for it throughout the ages including poet Francesco Redi, Voltaire and Pope Paul III. Tasting Notes: Santa Caterina Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is an intense red colour with purplish glints. On the nose, there is an explosion of red fruit, blackberry and orange aromas. In the mouth, the wine is immediately soft and sweet with hints of red berry fruit, cedar, mint and a long, light and elegant finish.
Enjoy With: Roasted pork, grilled vegetables or pasta with meat sauce.

Terroir/Region: This wine is made exclusively from the vineyards planted on the Santa Caterina hill along the Via Lauretana, an historic border area between the Papal States and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. The Santa Caterina hill is an exclusive part of Tenuta TreRose which stands out for its amphitheatre-shaped vineyards of Sangiovese and a unique climate from Lake Trasimeno. The soil has alternating layers of silt, salty clay and sand from its marine origins.
