Terroir/Region: Just 60km from Madrid, the La Mancha DO is the world’s largest certified winegrowing region (‘DO’ in Spain). The majority of wines made here are red, however, small pockets of the region are cooler and ideal for white grapes. The soils help maintain a natural acidity in the wines that allow whites to be intensely fruity, while still balanced and refreshing.
