Air New Zealand announces flights to Buenos Aires, South America

The announcement from Air NZ regarding the new service Buenos Aires-Auckland commencing December 2015 is fantastic news and TRNZ would like to congratulate Air NZ for making this happen and opening up what is a great opportunity for the NZ tourism industry.

New Zealand Riverjet

New Zealand Riverjet is a ride like no other, conveniently situated between Taupo and Rotorua this experience is sure to thrill and delight. Introducing people to a slice of New Zealand scenery only a select few have ever seen. Visitors will cruise the Waikato River and experience an unforgettable scenic tour.

Two popular options are:

The Squeeze – The adventure begins with a scenic jet
boat ride through Tutukau Gorge. Sit back and
take in the remarkable landscape, learn the history and legends of the area and enjoy an abundance of unique wildlife.

Just when you thought you had an easy day ahead, your driver asks you to disembark the boat in knee deep warm water. You head towards a narrow gap in the cliff face ahead of you and start the challenge of The Squeeze.

After manoeuvering your way through narrow crevasses, climbing boulders, and wading through warm waist deep water you emerge in stunning native New Zealand bush. Immerse yourself in the environment and take the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere while relaxing in the thermal waters of a naturally heated bathing pool, and enjoy a natural shoulder massage under the hot water fall or just relax and enjoy the hot water surrounding you in what is truly a memorable and unique experience.

While ‘squeezing’ your way back to the boat, prepare yourself for the action packed ride ahead of you. Hang on tight and enjoy all the thrills, excitement, speed and spins you would expect from the Hamilton jet. This adventure will challenge, excite and create fantastic, everlasting memories.

Riverjet Thermal Safari – A must do 2.5 – 3hr trip, including 1hr Jetboating and entry to Orakei Korako.

Travel down to the hidden valley of Orakei Korako, rated as the Best Thermal area in New Zealand by The Lonely Planet Guide Book.  There you will experience an enchanting natural geothermal park that has fabulous walks around steaming cliffs, amazing hot pools and the awesome Aladdin’s cave.
