Tasting Notes: Irony Cabernet Sauvignon opens with black cherry, cocoa and cedar notes, followed by ripe, dark fruit and cassis, elegantly delivered over a wave of soft tannins and toasty oak.

Terroir/Region: The North Coast region of California ranges from San Francisco Bay to northern Mendocino, allowing wineries to select ‘North Coast’ grapes from different regions with different attributes. Producer: Three generations of the Indelicato family have steered the winery to the position it holds today, and Irony Wines is the tale of 2 family members. Brothers Jay and Chris Indelicato grew up helping their grandfather in the vineyards while their minds wandered to things like riding their bikes. The ‘Irony’ lies in these two brothers swearing off the family business in their youth, but gradually working their way back into it after doing some growing up. All roads lead to… home.
