The Principles for Responsible Management Education will gather business school leaders, faculty, students, businesses and sustainable development organizations for a Responsible Management Education Week, on 12 - 16 June 2023, in New York (USA), to advance responsible management education and its impact worldwide. PGS on Stage: Conscious Capitalism Simulation Competition! Grab your chance to fly to New York for the PRME Global Forum now! The Conscious Capitalism Simulation Competition, a partnership between PRME Global Students (PGS) and Marketplace Simulations, will award four students to travel to New York City to participate in the 2023 PRME Global Forum (June 12th to 14th, 2023). The Conscious Capitalism Simulation Competition is a three-day competition (May 12th to 14th) with eight hours of interactive games per day (a total of 24 hours). Since enrolling in university he has developed a strong interest in sustainability and environmental issues. Last year, he served as an Ambassador of Students at the Rector's office, where he raised awareness of sustainability and environmental issues on campus.

Deadline : 15 June!Student Organization Spotlight: The Sustainability Club, Al Akhawayn University The Sustainability Club at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane is a student-led initiative that advocates for stewardship of the natural environment in Morocco. Located in one of Africa’s cleanest cities, Ifrane, the students have contributed to this status through clean up campaigns, recycling programs, and a dedicated community garden that promotes knowledge on the importance of green spaces.They have organized numerous initiatives, such as beach clean-ups, and educational workshops on reducing waste and conserving resources for the benefit of students and the local community. Their efforts have not only improved overall environmental well-being of the community but have also fostered a sense of environmental stewardship among club members & students in general. The students have long standing partnerships with local organizations to further their sustainability efforts, including the Moroccan Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Environment as well as small local organic product markets. For their leadership towards SDG 15, the Sustainability Club at AUI was awarded the 2022, PRME Global Students Sustainability Award for Africa. Currently, the club is leading a massive reforestation drive in Ifrane to restore the land damaged by some construction activities. Responsible management education in business school: Are we there yet?Article’s authors: Fara Azmat, Ameeta Jain, and Bhavani SridharanThe effectiveness of principles for responsible management education (PRME) in transforming management education to responsible management education (RME) to develop students as responsible future leaders have been debated in recent years. In light of this debate, we analyse how the introduction of sustainable development goals (SDGs) has influenced the progress of RME and its delivery across business schools (B-schools) through the lens of Habermas’s theory. The research has implications for academics, B-schools and policymakers for improving policy and practice in higher education to deliver RME and contribute to the PRME/SDG discourse.
