VENICE, CA, JULY 10, 2012: Blik, the innovative maker of self-adhesive surface graphics is proud to announce a new partnership with Bruce Mau Design (BMD), a global multi-disciplinary creative firm. BMD has been working with Blik to develop the company's inaugural tool that allows the user to become a graphic designer, creating personalized messages using dynamic letterforms. This sustainable line of wall coverings is generated from a customized font developed by BMD. The letterforms allow users to spell a name, write a message or create interesting shapes.

"We wanted to develop a tool that allowed Blik customers create something fun, beautiful and deeply personal," said Hunter Tura, President & CEO of Bruce Mau Design. "I have always loved Blik - and of course have been a customer myself. We're proud to have collaborated with them to take their ethos of customization to a whole new level."

Using alternatives to the traditional PVC sources, the BLIK X BMD line of wall coverings is produced without sacrificing print quality, durability or ease of application. The material is non-vinyl, PVC-free and phthalate-free and contains no VOC's.

"The green aspect of this collaboration is a great accomplishment," said Scott Flora, co-founder of Blik. "When we were approached by BMD over a year ago, the big question was can this application be eco-friendly? Through green printing methods, materials and packaging, we are able to offer a sustainable product that enables users to create and produce a design."

HOW TO: The process is simple: Create your own message, choose your preferred shapes, and customize your design to suit your own personal aesthetic. With the platforms 'Create & Share' function, users can also share their art through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and tumblr or email it to a friend. Not interested in tapping your inner designer? Choose a finished design from one of BMD's talented designers.

COST: The Blik X BMD platform is now live and designs can be custom ordered in 24" X 12" ($20) or 48" X 24" ($40) at Blik. High-res images available.
