Doll

For many Russian children growing up in the 1960s, this was the first toy they ever owned. They called their version of a roly-poly doll (which wobbles back and forth on a weighted base) a Nevalyashka doll – that’s Russian for “untopply.” They were manufactured in a military plant outside of Moscow and became an instant hit. This orange model really rocks!

School Mental Health Ontario
School Board Resource Kit

School Mental Health Ontario (SMH-ON) works together with Ontario school districts to support student mental health. With increasing demand for resources to support the mental health needs of students, SMH-ON worked with H&W to create a broad range of print and digital resources for the school boards of the province. Without a centralized team, SMH-ON relied on H&W to produce, assemble, package and distribute a full resource kit for each of the 72 school boards across Ontario – temporarily turning our studio into a fulfillment house! We called in some of our students to help get these important student resources delivered!

Habitat for Humanity
Build the Beyond Case for Support

H&W, with the Offord Group and writer Ania Szado, created a Fundraising Case for Support for Habitat for Humanity GTA. Habitat’s work enhances the lives of children and their families, elevates the quality of neighbourhoods, and helps increase the vibrancy and economic vitality of the GTA. H&W designed a flexible “housing” system to allow the Campaign Committee to customize the package when meeting with different types of donors. Habitat has the tools to update the materials with the latest stories and details of the campaign milestones.
