Al Emmo & the Lost Dutchman's Mine v3.0 Released

Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine version 3.0 is out now! This build features a new high-resolution mode and offers proper support for Vista and Windows 7. This is the first major release of Al Emmo since 2006, so whether you already own the game or have never played it before, now is the perfect time to check out the new features in this optimized version!

Upgrading to version 3.0 is free for customers who previously purchased the game directly from Himalaya Studios. If you bought the Digital Download version, simply uninstall your old version, then re-install version 3.0. The same serial key number you were allocated previously will work.

However, if you bought the CD version from Himalaya Studios and would like to upgrade to version 3.0, please send us an email at replacements@himalayastudios.com, quoting your order reference number and/or shipping address where the game was mailed to. We'll assign you a new serial key that works with the Digital Download version of the game.

Important: Save-games from previous versions are not compatible with v3.0!

The main addition to v3.0 is the implementation of higher resolution modes which allows for a more detailed Al Emmo character sprite. A full list of additions, features, improvements, and bug fixes is available here.

New Game: Postcards from Anozira

We recently released a casual game set in the Al Emmo universe. It's called "Postcards from Anozira".

This is a "straight" Hidden Object Game (i.e.  it is not an Interactive HOG with adventure-game elements), which we started developing mainly as an experiment to see how efficiently the Adventure Game Studio engine could handle this style of game.

Postcards from Anozira features 29 playable levels, offers 145 Postcards to collect, and you can choose to play as one of 5 different characters (Al Emmo, Rita Peralto, Kevin, Koko, or Mayor Trinkwasser)!
