We are super-happy to announce that we managed to launch this year's 16th annual call for entries to Stereohype's Button Badge Design Competition – despite our studio move within London, our website server update and of course that bugger of a pandemic with all its implications... There is not that much time this year, so please do hurry up to make this work in the next few weeks. Happy badge-designing and good luck!

The deadline to create and submit lovely, humorous and/or witty artworks for those cute little mobile canvases is 21/09/2020.

Our other independent design initiative – the FL@33-curated B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) – also went into the next round. The first B.I.O. Series 20 invitations have already been sent out and are awaiting this year's commissioned design gems. Exciting weeks and months ahead... Please stay tuned.

The online boutique will also officially open again later in September.

In other news:
This summer we successfully saved our good old Stereohype mascot polygon squirrel sculpture that we originally created with white cardboard for our 10th anniversary exhibition as part of London Design Festival 2014. We painstakingly transformed it into a fibreglass / epoxy resin outdoor sculpture that should – at least theoretically – now be as structurally sound and waterproof as a boat. We cross our fingers and hope our Stereohype squirrel will be happy in the beautiful forest in France, where it found a new permanent home. We'll add a project page over at flat33.com soon and also add more pictures to our Instagram channel over the next days and weeks.
