I spoke to an AIT hopeful a few days ago, and he asked me, "What is the single best piece of advice that I have for him" as he begins his journey of achieving his goal to be an NHA.

For whatever reason, it reminded me of a quote from Mother Theresa that I fumbled across early in my career. 

When I feel like I'm having the most impact, it's usually because I'm closer to achieving this than other times.

She said

"Spread love everywhere you go.  Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier."

It's so simple and complex at the same time.

Being your best means bringing out the best in others.  

Build them up.
