The Shaw Rocket Fund is pleased to welcome two additions to its team: Becki Hui as Business Analyst and Victoria Spence as Office Manager.
Their collective experience and insightfulness will strengthen our team and support the Rocket Fund’s ongoing mission to champion the Canadian children’s production community.
About Becki Hui
Since 2005, Becki has worked in the film and television industry, most recently as Business Affairs Manager at Minds Eye Entertainment. Her experience also includes associate producer roles at Minds Eye Entertainment and Vérité Films, as well as being a freelance producer for programs of varying genres.
About Victoria Spence
Working in the film and television industry since 2006, Victoria brings experience from 5 seasons of “Flashpoint” through Pink Sky/Avamar Entertainment including the role of Business Affairs Coordinator on Season 4 and 5. Prior to “Flashpoint,” Victoria was a Production Assistant on various productions including DHX Media’s “That’s So Weird”.

Shaw Rocket Prize
The Shaw Rocket Prize awards one recipient with a $50,000 prize for the best independently produced Canadian children's television program. It is one of the largest prizes of its kind in Canada! This year’s finalist announcement is coming up on October 6. The winner of the 8th Annual Shaw Rocket Prize, as chosen by kids, will be announced on November 27. Find out more and stay tuned:
