Local Spotlight: Ceredigion

Ceredigion establish a Sports Crew to compliment work of Young Ambassadors

Last year, during a Regional AYP meeting, AYP Teams discussed the possibility of establishing Sports Crews in secondary schools to compliment the work of the Young Ambassadors. Ceredigion have now introduced Sports Crews into all their secondary schools. The Sports Crew members are mostly Year 7 pupils that were Bronze Young Ambassadors last year.

Training day for Silver Young Ambassadors takes place in Cardiff

The new influx of Silver YA’s throughout Cardiff attended a training day in Cardiff Met University. The day focused on the roles and characteristics of a Young Ambassador and how these could be utilised to promote the Olympic and Paralympic Values in their schools.
