Public Consultation on White Paper - Supporting the Evolution of
Sustainable Living Labs and Living Labs Networks in Africa

This White Paper Supporting the Evolution of Sustainable Living 
Labs and Living Labs Networks in Africa was authored by IST-Africa 
in cooperation with LliSA as a result of the inaugural IST-Africa
Living Labs Workshop on 10 May 2011 in Gaborone and the 
establishment of the EU - AU Living Labs Task Force for Africa. 

Stakeholders are invited to provide contributions and additional 
case studies to secretariat@IST-Africa.org for inclusion in the 
final White Paper by 30 September 2011.

Call for Proposals: Research projects on Information Societies 
and Information & Communication Technology for Development

The SIRCA Programme establishes and brings together the endeavors
of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC, Canada) 
and the Singapore Internet Research Centre (SiRC, Singapore) to 
identify future research leaders, particularly emerging 
researchers who are relatively new to ICTD/Information Society 
research and to facilitate their development through the support 
of research grants.

Deadline for interest registration: 14 October 2011
Deadline for proposal submission: 1 November 1 2011

Call for Papers for IST-Africa 2012.

Hosted by the Government of Tanzania through the Tanzania 
Commission for Science and Technology, Supported by the European 
Commission and African Union Commission and Technical Co-Sponsored 
by IEEE, IST-Africa 2012 will take place in Tanzania, 09 - 11 May 
2012.

The scientific programme for IST-Africa 2012 is based on an open 
Call for Papers (see http://bit.ly/p4ac4A)

Interested presenters are encouraged to prepare an 8 page paper 
(4,000 - 5,000) words following the IST-Africa 2012 paper 
guidelines and paper template for submission online by 
*30 November*.
