Apply for Graduation

Are you graduating from CGS or completing a CGS certificate in December? If so, and if you have not already completed the graduation forms, call 412-624-6600 to set up a graduation appointment with your advisor before Friday, September 11

 

Avoid the late application fees by calling today!

English Department Internship Grants

Applications for the Department of English Internship Grants are due by Friday, September 11. Please contact your CGS advisor for more information.

 

Grant recipients receive funding for unpaid and low-paid internships and living expenses for internships outside of Pittsburgh. For-credit and not-for-credit internships are eligible for the grant and awards are given on a one-time-only basis.

Math Tutoring

The College of General Studies offers math tutoring within the McCarl Center for Nontraditional Student Success. Whether you are struggling in a math-related course, need help with an upcoming exam or project, or just want to brush up on basic math skills, we can help.

 

Walk-in hours with CGS's math tutor, Donna Rosenberger, are offered on

 

Tuesdays: 1-5:30 p.m.

Thursdays: 1-5:30 p.m.

 

Online tutoring  also is available through CourseWeb. E-mail Donna at djr56@pitt.edu for access.
