The NHS reviews clinic locations based on patient hot spots and travel timesA very timely project that we have been working on is to help a regional NHS Healthcare Trust to intelligently locate their outpatient clinics based upon travel times and the locations of their patients. It is a perfect example of how our TimeTravel data can be used to make a network as efficient as possible, help to minimise costs, and create a net improvement in customer service. Red for danger, green for confusion?In the last 6 months we have been overwhelmed with infographics and maps charting the spread, intensity and danger of COVID-19; often daubed in red or green to help people to understand the risk in a particular area. But what if you happen to be colour blind? John, one of our directors, looks at the perils of colour blindness in visual data and what we can do to help make visual data more accessible. The new normal for working in geodata & mappingWith homeworking now prevalent, and the added complications to site visits, training, or even sharing data, the geodata and mapping world is changing following COVID-19.
