During the course of the 2018 Kidscreen Summit, the Shaw Rocket Fund is proudly showcasing Canadian production companies and their programs. These companies have worked diligently to produce content for our kids, and we're here to spread the news! ICYMI: The 2018 Kidscreen Awards were last night! Here are the winners.
Arcana StudioPanda Vs. Aliens, an animated family film, is being distributed by Viva Pictures in North America. The deal includes a multi-city theatrical release. Stan Lee and Gill Champion will executive produce the film The Steam Engines Of Oz, an animated family film, is being distributed by Cinedigm in North America. Look for the home entertainment release in the first quarter of 2018 - Awards:
Boat Rocker Media- The Next Step, currently in production on Season 6, has been acquired by Universal Kids in the US, and The Next Step Live: The Movie was picked up by ABC Me (Australia)
- Ollie! The Boy Who Became What He Ate was picked up by Universal Kids in the US and has also sold to Discovery MENA, Discovery Asia and Huashi TV (China)
- Yup Yups was licensed to CBeebies (Middle East & Poland) and JY Animation (China)

Attraction ImagesMammouth (co-produced with Pamplemousse Média for Télé-Québec) celebrates inspiration in all its forms, allowing teenagers to take a stand Les Parent format has been sold by Attraction Distribution to Telewizja Polska (TVP) in Poland (and has already sold to Spain, Israel, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Slovenia and France) Attraction Images will produce the remake of the legendary children's series Passe-Partout for Télé-Québec to mark the 40th anniversary of the show - Awards:

- Just Like Mom and Dad premiered in January 2018 on YesTV (Canada) and BYUtv (US). It is distributed by Distribution 360
- Super Mighty Makers, a live-action show about crafting with kindness, is
currently in development in association with Jamie Piekarz of JamPie Media. It will launch on TVOKids and Knowledge Kids in fall 2018
