Dear Friends, Supporters and Students,

On behalf of our board and students, I’d like to thank everyone for helping to make M.E.N.U.S. 2016 an overwhelming success. Our annual M.E.N.U.S. (Mentoring & Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students) event was held on Friday, September 16th, at The Beach at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, featured an exclusive poolside dine-around, silent auction and exciting entertainment.

Nearly 800 guests attended M.E.N.U.S. to enjoy more than 50 participating restaurants and bars including: Giada Las Vegas, Lagasse’s Stadium, Libertine Social, Silverado Steak House, Trattoria Reggiano, Top of the World and more. The dine-around was complemented by a performance from the Gin Blossoms. M.E.N.U.S. 2016 honored Bill Foley, owner of Las Vegas’ first NHL team, for his contributions to the city.

M.E.N.U.S. would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors and partners, including presenting sponsor MGM Resorts International; platinum sponsor Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits; gold sponsors Anheuser-Busch, Break Thru Beverage, Corby Hall, E&J Gallo Winery, FIJI Water, Johnson Brothers of Nevada, and Nevada Beverage Co.; and all of our valued silver and bronze sponsors, listed below.  A huge thank you to Ian Seidenberg and the Encore team, the Mandalay Bay event team, One7, Foundation Room, Cashman photo, ILEA, Baskow, the ECF board and staff and to everyone who worked so tirelessly to put the night on. I am very proud of our students for playing an active role in the execution of M.E.N.U.S. 2016. Their responsibilities included overseeing registration, coordinating the silent auction, assisting with the VIP lounge and the set up and break down of the event.

With all of the glitz and glamour of M.E.N.U.S., it is important to recognize the overall purpose of our annual event: to raise money for deserving local students. These young individuals are inspirations for us all and continue to out-shine and out-perform our highest expectations every year. This year, we were able to capture our four newest recipients on video as we SURPRISED them with a full-ride scholarship. It is thanks to our partners and everyone who supported M.E.N.U.S. that we were able to change the trajectory of these young people’s lives.  Scroll down for the video and share with us why we continue to work hard to make M.E.N.U.S. the best it can be.

Best,
