We have the pleasure to add the names of Peter Wolf (IDEA) and Wairagala Wakabi (CIPESA, Uganda) to the list of confirmed panelists, which includes Dorothy Okello (Wougnet, Uganda), Heli Haapkylä (Nokia, Finland) and Kleptocracy Fighters (East Africa). Vasilis Koulolias (Gov2U, Greece) will be the keynote speaker and David Isaksson (Global Reporting) will be moderator.
As places are filling up, we would like to remind those of you who wish to participate to register by e-mail to the workshop coordinator Katja Sarajeva at katja@spidercenter.org as soon as possible and no later than 20 May.
The workshop will also be webcast and in the spirit of openness and inclusion there will be a possibility for those who are not physically present to ask questions and participate in the workshop.
You can look forward to a special surprise event at the conclusion of the workshop! Some, although not all, details will be disclosed closer to the event (we can already promise music, refreshments and a festive atmosphere).
The workshop DEMOCRAZY? – ICT as a catalyst in democratic processes will be held in Kista Science Tower 10:00-16:00 on Thursday June 9, 2011. Program and updates are available on the Spider web site http://www.spidercenter.org/event/democrazy-ict-catalyst-democratic-processes
Kind Regards
Katja Sarajeva (Workshop Coordinator Spider)
