Spring Seminar Series


We are pleased to announce our spring 2015 Undergraduate Research Seminar Series! All seminars are open to undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. Topics range from how to get involved in research to idetifying the best research software to utilizing crowdfunding for your research.

Presentation Awards available for Psychology students

The Psychology Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research will be providing presentation awards ($100 Amazon gift cards) to students of CUR members who are presenting at the following regional undergraduate research conferences: Rocky Mountain Psychological Association (RMPA), Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA), Eastern Psychological Association (EPA), Southeastern Psychological Association (SEPA), Southwestern Psychological Association (SWPA) and Western Psychological Association (WPA). One award will also be given to students presenting at Association for Psychological Science (APS). Students are encouraged to use the award to purchase educational materials.

Social Science Student Travel Awards

 

The Social Science Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research is offering a limited number of travel grants, up to $200 each, for undergraduate students presenting the results of research that they have conducted at a regional or national, discipline-specific meeting during the academic year 2014-2015. Award recipients are required to acknowledge CUR for support of their travel in their talk or poster. After the meeting, a brief report about the experience is expected. Biology Division Student Travel Awards Announcement

The Biology Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research is offering a limited number of travel grants, up to $250 each, for undergraduate students presenting original research results at a regional or national, discipline-specific meeting during the fiscal year 2014-2015. Award recipients are required to acknowledge CUR for support of their travel in their talk or poster, to complete a short evaluation form about their meeting experience and to submit a PDF file of their poster.
