Click here Greetings from TRNZ - 2017 As New Zealanders start to drift back from their holidays at the beach and into work life, it's straight back into full to do lists and peak stress levels for most of us. However, it is great to hear that people are coping well and effectively managing all that's required. As forecasted this season is bumper, with reports coming through from accommodation providers and activities that they are welcoming record numbers of visitors through the doors. With visitors reaching these high levels, we are very excited to share what’s been going on with our TRNZ clients. Take a read:
Cruise Milford - Quite the experience! With the season in full swing and not looking like slowing down anytime soon, Hamish Egerton of Cruise Milford is reporting they are "Busy, busy, busy! The focus however is still the same as always - happy customers and providing the best Milford Sound experience we can". With their smaller boutique vessel, capped passenger numbers and an emphasis on quality customer service from their local crew, an uncrowded and enhanced visitor experience is guaranteed. The smaller size of the vessel enables Cruise Milford to get up close with the local wildlife like NZ fur seals, dolphins or the Fiordland Crested penguins. Customers also experience unique opportunities like sampling water that was captured in an ice bucket placed on the bow of the boat right from a waterfall! Goldfields Jet - Update Queenstown prides itself on its adventure and thrill seeking possibilities, and one activity that's hard to ignore is Goldfields Jet. In a picturesque location, at the eastern end of the spectacular Kawarau Gorge (a 40 min drive from Queenstown) it offers something truly unique. For those without their own transport, a Queenstown pick up and drop off option is available. A spectacular Jet boat ride on the mighty Kawarau River. Through the heart of one of New Zealand’s most historic gold mining regions. The specifically designed Jet boats and highly trained drivers will take you on an unforgettable 40-minute ride through the Kawarau Gorge. Goldfields Jet has been operating for over 25 years. Boasting a 100% safety record, it’s easy to see why this is such a popular attraction. PLUS while you’re in the area check out the historic NZ gold mining dwellings & Gold Mining Centre. Check it out below! Cave World Regeneration The Cave World team have been busy in Waitomo, working at Footwhistle Cave. The emphasis has been on enhancing the natural environment and nourishing the glowworms food source. The results of all their hard work is starting to come to fruition, with their glowworm populations continuing to grow and an estimate that numbers have nearly doubled since last season. This is exciting for the team at Cave World as it reinforces the quality product they are proud to provide visitors. The sheer numbers of glowworms combined with smaller guided groups, the ability to take photographs on the tour and the Kawakawa tea service at the end of each tour really is something very unique.
