Tourism WA has negotiated a partnership with Masterchef Australia that will see Optus Stadium, Perth, the Swan Valley, Margaret River and Rottnest Island all featured in program content on the hit reality cooking show. An integrated marketing campaign by Tourism WA will also include travel packages with cooperative partners promoted in advertising during the prime-time program, giving people an immediate opportunity to book their own WA gourmet getaway. MasterChef Australia judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston (pictured) kicked off their WA filming at Optus Stadium on Sunday where they were interviewed about WA’s inclusion in the program. Watch the 10 News story here.
