An incredible year for progress in lung cancer research

From early-detection screening to new treatment options, lung cancer researchers presented the latest progress toward enhanced survivorship at the 2016 American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting in Chicago in June. LUNGevity’s Upal Basu Roy, PhD, MPH, Director of Science Communications and Programs, discusses key discoveries in his blog post, Progress for lung cancer patients is exploding: Highlights of ASCO 2016.

You’ll also want to check out our Lung Cancer Blog for postings by lung cancer survivors, caregivers, and health care providers on living with lung cancer. The blog was recognized as one of the Best 10 Lung Cancer Blogs of 2016 by Healthline.
