Profiles PDF and Faculty Salary Survey

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for your patience as we have produced the pdfs of your submitted data for the 2019 Profiles of Engineering and Engineering Technology. You can access this by logging into your account at https://survey.asee.org. You will see the pdf  when you click on "Registrations" a llink with "Data Review College Profiles 2019" will have your data as shown below.

This report includes the data submitted by your institution for the 2019 ASEE Profiles of Engineering and Engineering Technology as of Sunday March 8th at 3:30 AM ET.

If you submitted a corrupted or manipulated xlsx file we were not able to process (or did not submit a spreadsheet), you will not see any faculty counts, non-tenure faculty counts, enrollment, degrees awarded or research expenditures. In order to process everyone's spreadsheets, they must be in the exact same structure as downloaded from the survey site. Adding any text to the spreadsheet, changing the order of ethnicities, changing the structure of research expenditures, adding footnotes, explanations, deletions, re-ordering -anything- prevents the processing of an institutions spreadsheet. We will be reaching out to get an updated version from those institutions over the next week.

Any changes made to the online survey data need to be made by close of business Tuesday, March 17, 2020.  This is the portion of the survey you access by going to [https://survey.asee.org](https://survey.asee.org).  We can accept updates to the numerical tables (i.e. the flat files or spreadsheets) after that time, but will shut off the online survey at that point to start producing the final publications and the new Engineering Data Management System.

Also, our Faculty Salary Survey is open until April 15 for this year: https://salarysurvey.asee.org/

The ASEE has collected salary by rank and discipline for tenured/tenure-track engineering faculty since 2009. For participating institutions, there are four reports provided for free:
(1) All participating Institutions
(2) Public Institutions
(3) Private Institutions
(4) USN Top 50

We provide averages, medians, upper/lower deciles and quartiles, minimum and maximum for reporting institutions by discipline and rank. We censor cells with less than 5 reporting institutions.  For each of the reports above, there is one that is based on the raw data and then a second set of reports that are corrected for regional price parities (i.e. adjusting salary statistics based on the cost-of-living for an area). A peer reporting tool is also available for participating institutions for $500.

Thanks,

Charles
