Greetings T’22s!

We hope you are well, and we look forward to welcoming you to campus soon. Given that many of you are in the process of making travel plans, we thought it would be helpful to outline our policies with regard to arrival logistics. Our preeminent concern is for your health and safety and the health and safety of the Tuck and Hanover communities. Please note the following:

  • All students, regardless of where they are living, will be required to meet certain health standards, including  COVID-19 testing administered by Dartmouth College, upon arrival to campus.

  • Students participating in a Pre-Term Program (PEP or International Orientation) will be able to move into dorms on Sunday, August 2. All other students living on campus will be able to move in between Tuesday, August 4 – Friday, August 7, on Sunday, August 9, or anytime thereafter.

  • Next week you will receive a survey to sign-up for a two-hour time slot to move in, as well as a COVID-19 testing time. We need to limit move-in activity to 10 people per dorm, per time slot, in order to honor social distancing requirements.

If you are living in South Street Apartments, Sachem Village, or any other off- campus location, you are free to move in when your lease begins. Please be advised that before you enter any campus buildings you also will be required by Dartmouth to have had a COVID-19 test and to meet the same health standards as those living in the residence halls.

Future communications will be sent with details about testing and quarantining requirements. We wanted to provide broad parameters, at this point, so that you can begin to make travel plans.

We are happy to take questions, and will provide more details next week.

Thank you!

The MBAPO
