TASA 2017 Conference No Images? Click here TASA 2017 Conference Dear , Good news! The deadline for the call for abstract and papers for TASA conference 2017 has been extended to June 15. TASA invites authors to submit abstracts for consideration for presentation at the 2017 conference. Abstract/papers are welcomed that engage with the conference theme of ‘Belonging in a Mobile World’, as well as other abstract/papers submitted to the 28 TASA thematic groups. At this year's conference we are pleased to have an extraordinary set of keynotes/plenaries including Professors Mimi Sheller, Anthony Elliott, Sharon Pickering, and Matthew Tonts. We also have a number of features of this year’s conference, including sessions on the anthropology/sociology nexus, criminal justice and Indigenous peoples, and the latest on the ethics of research. In addition, a social research methods half day will be held on the Friday after the conference, which we hope you can will stay for. The new June 15 deadline is the final extension so please circulate this email among your networks and encourage your colleagues and students to contribute to what will be an exciting week of new research.
