A 1940's double bill with Holt 1940's and Sheringham 1940's weekends, Redwell Brewery Tour, Wildfest Aylsham and Out There Festival are all included in this week’s top 5.
The Holt 1940s weekend returns! The town will be filled with the sights and sounds of the 40s, stalls, acts and entertainment including the popular pigeon race (Sat 1pm - don’t miss it!). Be sure to follow the Ration Book Trail around the town, get stuck-in at the street party, and keep a keen ear out for the talented D-Day Darlings and David Van Day. Extend your trip back in time and hop on a train and travel to Sheringham for more 40s fun.

Sheringham 1940's weekend
Sheringham is also being transported back to the 1940s this weekend. Don’t miss the civilian and military vehicles parade (Sat 7pm), and be a part of the fun at the civilian and military re-enactors parade (Sun 4pm). Purchase a Forties Gazette for all timings of the fun-filled 40s events in the town, including the spectacular fly-by! Be sure to hop aboard a steam train and head to 40s Holt where more nostalgia awaits.

Redwell Brewery’s Master Brewer is giving a tour this Saturday. Learn all about the local and delicious vegan and gf beers that Redwell produce (we should know, we’ve tested them). Tickets include something to quench your thirst on arrival and something to keep your whistle whet on the way around (fresh from the tank!).

Starting on Friday evening with live music, bars, and a gin festival the event warms up for the main fixtures the following day. Saturday promises more live music, street food, delicious Wildcraft beer and fully stocked bars, Norfolk produce, battle of the bands, and plenty of kids entertainment. A very lively day out for the whole family!

Step back in time to the 1940's at Byfords. As part of the Holt 1940's celebrations this weekend the Byfords team will be dressing up in 1940 attire, serving a wartime inspired menu plus they will be taking part in the ration book trail so make sure to collect your stamp for your chance to win a prize!
