In love, there are times for passion: fueling your fire and moving forward. There are also times for compassion, when you throw in the anchor and hold steady. For in this yin and yang dynamic of true love, there cannot be one without the other.

No matter what stage of love you may be in right now (or even if you’re taking a welcomed break from relationships), I invite you to embrace the idea of showing up full of passion and compassion. Because when you offer up those sweet, beautiful parts of you to your lover, your friends, and yourself—you will accomplish things you never thought possible. Knowing when to move forward and when to hold steady is the provenance of grace.
