Tomorrow marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day, a remembrance of Victory in Europe after World War Two. Although we are still in lockdown, there are ways to celebrate the occasion this year. Official commemorations will begin at 11am with a national moment of remembrance and two minutes’ silence. Katherine Jenkins is performing a closed-door concert at the Royal Albert Hall, which will be aired on Friday at 6pm via their website and YouTube channel. The Queen will also be broadcasting to the nation on BBC One at 9pm on VE Day, the same hour as her father, King George VI made his radio address those 75 years ago.
