Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis, now online, multiple languages
Today we are thrilled to introduce our most significant effort to reach expectant parents since we launched the Lettercase books in 2008. Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis remains the only resource to have been reviewed by leaders in the medical and disability communities. The booklet is included in professional guidelines by major medical organizations and academic articles. Tens of thousands of copies are used by clinicians, new & expectant parents, and patient advocacy organizations nationwide.
And now the resource is available as a free web app at UnderstandingDownSyndrome.org
Because we continually work to reach even further than before, we have made the web app available in eight languages: Chinese (Simplified), English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese.
One more thing. We recognize the continuing value that printed materials have at the very moment of diagnosis, so we have created very high-quality bifolds with select photos and text from the web app available for order from the Lettercase bookstore, again in multiple languages.
