English Partnerships India

Our vision is to enable people to achieve more for themselves and their communities by raising the standards of English for all.

We are committed to building connections between India and the UK that enable us to share our expertise in English language teacher education and development, teaching, learning and assessment. Over the last six years, the British Council has worked in partnership with 12 state governments to work with over 9,000 Master Trainers and teacher educators who have provided training and development opportunities for nearly 900,000 teachers.

In each edition of this newsletter we share information about:

  • partnership opportunities
  • research collaborations
  • English language development projects
  • innovations in English language teaching in India
  • events and professional development opportunities.
