Call for entries: 16TH ANNUAL BUTTON BADGE DESIGN COMPETITION (2020)

Today: extended deadline, shop re-opening and exclusive 10% subscriber discount announcements ///

/// Hi,

hope you are well!

After a summer of chaos we finally managed to re-open our online shop again yesterday. To thank you for your patience and support please accept our 10% discount using the checkout voucher code: ThankYou10 – a subscriber exclusive (oh – and please also enter the additional voucher code FreeBadgeOfChoice which allows you add to your order exactly what's written on the can)!

ThankYou10 is valid until the end of 28 September 2020 – which is also the date we extended our contest deadline to.

We launched the 16th annual call for entries to Stereohype's Button Badge Design Competition in August this year instead of the usual April / May kick-off.  We hope this extra week of our now extended deadline will help at least a little – so please do hurry up. Experiment, create, share the call for entries – and why not buy a badge or two. Help us make all this work in this difficult time for small independent teams like us.

Thank you, happy badge-designing and good luck!

The new EXTENDED deadline to create and submit lovely, humorous and/or witty artworks for those cute little mobile canvases is 28/09/2020.

Please do help us spread some button badge love. The competition and artwork guidelines with Photoshop templates and more, can be found here: https://www.stereohype.com/content/10-competitions #STBBDC

Our other independent design initiative – the FL@33-curated B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) – also went into the next round. The first B.I.O. Series 20 entries are in and they, too, have until the 28th now to get their designs to us. Please stay tuned.

In case you missed it in last month's newsletter:
This summer we successfully saved our good old Stereohype mascot polygon squirrel sculpture that we originally created with white cardboard for our 10th anniversary exhibition as part of London Design Festival 2014. Like a phoenix from the ashes...

We painstakingly transformed the collapsed cardboard sculpture into a fibreglass / epoxy resin outdoor sculpture that should – at least theoretically – now be as structurally sound and waterproof as a boat. We cross our fingers and hope our Stereohype squirrel will be happy in the beautiful forest in France, where it found a new permanent home. We'll add a project page over at flat33.com soon and also add more pictures to our Instagram channel over the next days and weeks.

Please follow the squirrel project via our @stereohype Instagram hashtag #SaveTheStereohypeSquirrel

#SaveTheStereohypeSquirrel

Please do help us spread some Stereohype love.
Thank You!
