Piper Heidseick Champagne

A classic French Champagne — very balanced with just the right amount of yeasty, toasty notes to let you know it is the real deal.

Reymos Sparking Moscato
— Spain

Delicious and slightly sweet — great as an aperitif or to sip while sitting with family and friends. Guaranteed to please palates from 21 to 92 years old.

Segura Viudas Brut and Rosé
— Spain

Known as "Cavas", these Spanish wines are great values. We've enjoyed this Brut for years, and the recently added Rosé is excellent as well.

How Much Wine Should You Buy?

BottlesIf you know your guests will be drinking mostly wine, plan on approximately one bottle for every three guests. If you’re also serving beer and spirits, one bottle of wine for every four or five guests is appropriate. For dinner parties, make sure every guest can have a glass of wine (5 ounces) with each course. A single 750 ml bottle of wine is enough for five 5-ounce glasses — a case (12 bottles) should allow 60 guests to enjoy a single glass. – Hank Beal, Nugget Markets Director of Adult Beverages

Our Favorite Hangover Cure for 2008

CureIf poppin’ open the champagne is to be the highlight of your New Year’s Eve plans, then you might want to pick up a bottle of Source Naturals’ Hangover Formula. Its potent combination of herbs and antioxidants helps to replenish the nutrients our bodies lose when we imbibe — and it might just help make January 1 a bright start to the new year!

Champagne Sorbet

We love Kyle's Champagne Sorbet especially when sprinkled with blueberry-banana-stuffed raspberries. A great sorbet is the result of a perfect balance between its flavor focus and its base ingredient, simple syrup…

Sticking to it – How to keep your New Year’s Resolutions

Dr LizEach time a new year rolls around, many of us promise our bodies the world. We emphatically state we’ll drop 40 pounds and get to the gym every day.
