Dear Friend,

I hope this message finds you physically and emotionally well. These are trying times with the government warning that the next week could be the worst yet in our fight against the virus.

However, it’s also a week when many of us will observe Easter or Passover. History is rich with stories of plight, slavery, and plagues, times when there didn’t seem to be an end to the suffering. Times when people could have given in, but instead they chose to rise up before bowing down in surrender to a situation beyond their control.

I hope my blog post about surrendering versus giving in will inspire you to rise up in the face of our challenges and act with grace and honor and love.

Whatever your faith, whatever your prayers, we’re all in this together. May we rise up and bow down together.
