This photo from my collaboration with Normal Editions Workshop is a lovely reminder of my artist residency at Illinois State University last fall. The editioned lithograph, created with Veda Rives (left) and Morgan Price (right), is available on Dose Projects with sales benefiting Direct Relief who provides medical care during emergencies including Zika Virus and the Syrian Refugee Crisis.

This summer, I had the opportunity to host some university classes at my Brooklyn studio to discuss my recent projects and creative research. In September, selected works from my Embodied Objects series will be included in CODE and NOISE at Arena 1 Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. The exhibition, curated by Christine Duval, also includes artists Jim Campbell, Casey Reas, Mel Day, and others. And in October, my hand latch-hooked sculptures from the Placebo series will be on view in Remedy at the ArtsWestchester Gallery in White Plains, NY.

In the Fall, I will be Artist-in-Residence at subnet in Salzburg. I'll be doing research in physical computing and biosensors while also taking advantage of the Schmiede cooperative prototyping collaboration in nearby Hallein. Following my time in Austria, I will be Researcher-in-Residence at the University of Maine's IMRC. During my residency, I will be teaching a graduate course focused on Art & Science based interdisciplinary collaboration.

And finally, I'm thrilled to have one of my recent EMG computerized jacquard tapestries included in the Thoma Art Foundation Collection which includes so many inspiring artists like Vera Molnar, Beryl Korot, Manfred Mohr, and Nam June Paik.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!
