Talkeetna Winterfest

Throughout the month of December, the charming town of Talkeetna warms up with holiday spirit and celebration. Enjoy the Festival of Lights or spend time listening to the stories of this historic region at the library.

Arts, crafts, entertainment, and baked goodies are anything but scarce around these parts!

Fairbanks Winter Solstice Celebration

Riverfront lighting, sleigh rides, caroling, music and winter fun in downtown Fairbanks is the theme of this Solstice Festival. Break-out the cold-weather clothing and plan to make a day out of this event, which is capped-off with a fireworks show!

Christmas In Ice

Ride the Winter Wonderland Train around an ice park, where featured ice carvings compete for highest honors. Check-out demonstrations by the artists themselves as you sip on hot cocoa.
