Regional voices heard in WA Tourism - ‘Our Story’

Tourism WA Managing Director Brodie Carr and marketing specialist Guy Taylor have finished the latest leg of their WA journey, meeting with tourism operators and professionals in Geraldton and Karratha. The pair have been chatting with industry members to define Tourism WA’s unique tourism brand story. The development of this story, a narrative that is owned across the tourism industry in WA, will help us align and differentiate our marketing, making it easier for a visitor to choose WA over one of our competitors. Mr Carr said they had heard genuine passion for WA from people working in the industry, with the conversations providing important input for defining our story. Between them, the pair have also visited Kalgoorlie, Albany, Esperance, Karratha, Margaret River, Bunbury, Mandurah and Fremantle. The WA Tourism ‘Our Story’ consultation process will involve industry workshops at a later stage. Follow @wa_tourism_our_story on Instagram and read more about the brand story here.
