More often than not, companies don’t have the power to do anything about fear-mongering Trump decisions like building a wall between the US and Mexico. But Cards Against Humanity has purchased a plot of land on the border and are hoping to make it as difficult as possible for Trump’s racism to be observed in concrete form. Perhaps a rebrand is on the cards – For Humanity, anyone?

Some guy has taken it upon himself to rate Australian bickies and lollies, and we are RILED. Kingston's and Choc Wheaties should definitely be in the top ten, and pretty sure Smarties and M&Ms deserve their own rating. Just sayin’.

MIT’s breakthrough technologies list is always an enlightening read, and of course, a brilliant reminder of how not-so-brilliant the rest of us are. This list will affect the economy, politics, improve medicine or influence culture, so be sure to get amongst it.

For over a decade, we’ve received overwhelmingly more designer applications from men than women. When our CD took to Twitter to vent, quite a few people commented on the language we use in our job ads. Too masculine? Too feminine? Turns out you can check your inherent biases with this tool.

PLANTS

If you’re truly terrible at caring for plants, one subreddit might have the solution. Every morning, a bot asks whether a plant should be watered or not. People vote, the plant lives and technology amazes us once again.

Alessandro Novelli’s latest work is a beautiful animation with a beautiful message, exploring all those feelings, dreams and possibilities that we unconsciously let go of during our life as we slowly adapt to what surrounds us.
