First entrepreneurship@Alacrity team announced
Three UBC graduates have been named to the first entrepreneurship@Alacrity team, a new business accelerator created to provide participants with real world entrepreneurial experiences and the opportunity to turn their commercialization project into a new technology company. http://ow.ly/7LPD3

Providing relief with the Relief Helmet
Richelle Eger of Gibson, BC received a 2011 BCIC Young Innovator Scholarship for her project the Relief Helmet, designed to minimize injury sustained from major, high impact accidents. http://ow.ly/7LJ5U

Prince George region seeks leadership for a new regional science and technology council
BCIC is supporting the development of the newest member of the BC Regional Science and Technology Network (BCRSTN) called the Innovation Central Society.  This organization, the ninth member to the network, will provide programs and services to support technology entrepreneurs and companies in the Prince George region. http://ow.ly/7LJeZ
