The winery’s obsession is to deliver the special characteristics its vineyards bring through its wines, and the Ranch 32 Cabernet Sauvignon is the perfect way to start.
Tasting Notes: Deep and rich, this 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon delivers blackberries, plums and currants with traces of mocha and violet. On the palate, it is lush and fruity with balanced acidity and perfectly integrated tannins.
Enjoy With: Steaks, juicy burgers, roast lamb and aged cheeses. If you are a Cab lover, this wine makes for a fantastic sipper.
Style: A dry, full-bodied red wine.
Terroir/Region: Ranch 32 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the southern, more protected regions of Monterey. Here, morning fogs cover the vineyards and gradually reveal the vines as the sun burns it off, similar to morning fog in the Napa Valley. This allows a slow ripening and a build-up of delicious, complex flavours.
Producer: The beginnings of Ranch 32 were planted in 1972, when there were far fewer vines in the region. The winery team always knew this land was special, and over nearly 50 harvests, it has deepened its knowledge, harnessing its full potential. That saves us a lot of time – almost 50 years! All we have to do is drink it!
