G3 Is Expanding to the Upstate!!

G3 Engineering & Surveying is happy to announce the expansion of our services to the Greenville, SC area. This now gives G3 Engineering & Surveying two offices to serve customers throughout the state and beyond.

The new Greenville office will be managed by David Elliott, PE and is located at 200 Whitsett Street Suite C, Greenville, SC 29601. David is a Citadel Alumni with civil design, planning, project administration and construction management experience throughout the southeastern United States.

Jim Green, Senior Partner and CFO has stated “We recognized the tremendous growth occurring in the upstate for both industrial and residential development and realized the potential to expand the G3 footprint.  

We are very excited to announce that we have opened a branch office in Greenville, to be led by David Elliott.  David has spent many years in the upstate and brings vast experience and knowledge of the area. Congratulations to Ashton Cox on receiving her SHRM – CP certifications. The SHRM-CP certification is for individuals that perform general HR/HR-related duties; or for those pursuing a career in Human Resource Management. ... The SHRM-CP exam is designed to assess the competency level of those who engage in HR work at the operational level.  Ashton has also been promoted the position of Business Office Manager.

Welcome Dennis Cox

Senior Project Manager, Greenville

A Greenville, SC native, having lived in several parts of the country over the years, including Miami, FL, Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, Mobile AL, and Urbana, OH. Dennis has a wide-ranging amount of experience in Industrial Civil Engineering, including markets of pulp & paper, plastic injection molding, airplane construction, tobacco processing, and chemical manufacturing. Other areas of experience include multifamily housing, subdivision, light commercial, US Army Corps of Engineers base construction (Fort Drum, NY), Naval Facilities submarine base construction (Kings Bay, GA), and private charter schools.

Dennis previously held general contractor licenses for 10 states including SC, NC, VA, WV, AL, MS, LA, TN, AR, and CA.

Project Coordinator / Designer ll

A South Hill, Virginia area native, Kris is a welcomed addition to G3 Engineering & Surveying as the new Project Coordinator. Kris is responsible for designing, managing, and reviewing for each of G3's residential land development projects.  He has been a resident of the Grand Strand for one year and has an extensive career in Water Resources as an Engineer.

Civil engineers probably understand that the Leaning Tower of Pisa was kept from collapse thanks to some ingenuitive geotechnical engineering. Engineers kept the tower from collapsing by placing weights on the north end of the foundation to right the structure. Now it is believed that the structure will survive for hundreds of more years.
