We are looking for an experienced Community Engagement Officer to join our Music Feedback team.
Music Feedback is an anti-stigma campaign that encourages young people (aged 12–25) to talk about mental health and mental illness, and seek help early. Music Feedback uses music and popular culture to engage young people, as these mediums are important to and relevant for young people.
The key message that is reflected in all Music Feedback project activities is “Music talks about mental health. So can you.”
This position will support development and delivery of all aspects of the project and will have responsibility for promotion of all project activities.
This role will have a focus on community engagement, particularly development of relationships with the workforce that supports young people across the State. This will include relationships and partnerships with youth and community organisations, education providers and health services.
The Community Engagement Officer will also support and coordinate events and activities that engage with young people, particularly young people who are at-risk of mental health issues.
