Cybercast at: Check out the yearbook from last season's climb: Unique Destinations – Guaranteed DeparturesPatagonia Cerro San Lorenzo Mt. Khuiten Carstensz Pyramid Great Peaks of Peru Those out of the way places are often the hardest trips to operate but we are committed to unique destinations and guaranteeing departures to make these expeditions come to life! Our new expedition to Patagonia Cerro San Lorenzo was a long time in the making and guide Paul Koubek returns to Patagonia and this beautiful region of the world to lead a small team into Chilean Patagonia. Open to experienced climbers who performed well at our climbing school or similar. Mt. Khuiten is Mongolia’s highpoint and the trip out the this remote corner of the world near Kazakhstan is a fantastic entry up to a great climb. Across the green steps of Mongolia, amidst the Nomads with camels as it has been for thousands of years, we look to follow up last year’s success and guide extraordinaire Ben Jones leads the team again. Carstensz Pyramid – The elusive 7th summit deep in the Irian Jungle is set to go, as guide Paul Koubek returns after last season’s 100% success. We heli in and out to the famed rock climbing area ( as this is the only way we offer this climbing given the risks of trekking) and look for some more rock climbers to join us for an otherworldly experience and the chance to stand on the highest point of the Oceanic continent. Great Peaks of Peru – though a long time staple of the Alpine Ascents catalogue we are pleased to announce a guaranteed departure with long time favorite guide Jose Luis Peralvo at the helm. An excellent opportunity to climb some beautiful peaks including Chopiqualqui at 20,847 feet. This is a small team departure with a total of 4 peaks on the agenda. Mount VinsonAlthough still a ways out, flights to Antarctica start to fill in June (we turn away climbers each season) and we offer an early booking discount for those who sign on by April 1, 2017. Join the legendary Vern Tejas who likely has more ascents of Vinson than any other climber and near 100% success in 25 years of guiding Vinson for Alpine Ascents! Cho-Oyu 8000 meter peak in TibetWhether a pre-cursor to Everest or a desire to climb and 8000 meter peak, Lakpa Rita Sherpa and Ben Jones are back again on Cho-Oyu this summer and look for similar success as we had in 2016. Please be advised that the local authorities are limiting permits this year and early booking is likely a necessity to join our team. As always we are happy to put you in touch with former climbers of the guide staff to answer any questions. An excellent climb for those who completed Denali or similar. Back at Home in SeattleMt.
